Digicel Congratulates Miss Deanna Mussington!

December 18^th 2009, THE VALLEY, ANGUILLA: Digicel would like to congratulate Miss Deanna Mussington for a well deserved victory in the first annual Digicel Presents Anguilla’s Got Talent Show.

Fourteen contestants including; Dwaynequa Baird, Sharmon Browne, Shanda Webster, Kerrol Bryan, Dylon Cognette, Ikimbah Gumbs, Deanna Mussington, Joseph Pradel, Vetlyn Richardson Barcy, Maguada Jackson, Omalie Durand, Maline Ortega, Danny Bryan plus Samantha Cate and Daniella Richardson, started the journey on December 4^th 2009 to determine who would be named Digicel’s talent winner 2009.  Going through three elimination processes, the final six contestants by voters choice were; Shanda Webster, Ikimbah Gumbs, Omalie Durand, Mealine Ortega, Deanna Mussington and Daniella Richardson.

On Friday December 11^th 2009, the six finalists took the stage at the Landsome Bowl Cultural Center and competed in two rounds of performances to win your hearts. There were also various guest artists including; K9, Samantha and Numcie, The Exodus Band, Feelo Je’ Model Agency and Pure Gentlemen show casing Anguilla’s talent at its best.

When all performances concluded, Deanna Mussington and Shanda Webster was the last two contestants standing, where Deanna took first and Shanda took second place in the first annual Digicel Presents Anguilla’s Got Talent Show. Anguilla can look forward to much greatness from Deanna as she prepares to bring out her Music Album and Music Video Compliments Digicel, AMPP and Rosell Media.  

Digicel would like to congratulate Miss Maguada Jackson for her victory in the art section of the competition. Maguada, will be one of the designers of the album cover for Deanna Mussington upcoming music record, and will work closely with Digicel to get her talent in art promoted throughout Anguilla.

Digicel would like to thank all fourteen contestants for their bravery and contribution in making the first annual Digicel Presents Anguilla’s Got Talent Show a tremendous success. “I look forward to seeing what will emerge in next year’s show. I know it will be even better than this year” said Anuska Reymond the Marketing Executive.
